Das ABS-Filament von Nobufil wird aus recycelten Kunststoffen hergestellt. Dabei handelt es sich um Produktionsabfälle, die bei der industriellen Verarbeitung anfallen. Durch spezielle Modifikation neigt dieses Material im Gegensatz zu Filamenten aus herkömmlichen ABS zu deutlich weniger Warping und weist eine reduzierte Geruchsbildung auf. Dadurch ist auch eine Verarbeitung auf Druckern mit offenem Bauraum möglich. Die physikalischen Eigenschaften von Nobufil ABSx umfassen eine hohe Zugfestigkeit und Steifheit. Außerdem weist es eine gute Wärme- und Chemikalienbeständigkeit auf. Gedruckte Teile können anschließend einfach nachbearbeitet werden. Dadurch eignet sich dieses Material besonders für die Herstellung von Prototypen, Modellen und Kleinserien von technischen Teilen.
